  • Beautiful rooms with beautiful views
Another great stay at Agalia thanks to all the Members of staff. A truly unique experience of Luxury with unrivalled attention to detail from the decor in our room to the swimming pool and breakfast area with a superb view over the bay and port. Our stays at Agalia always bring us back to Beautiful Ios.

  • Our Favourite Hotel
We booked last minute when stranded here due to the weather. Service here was just lovely – each and every member of the large staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived the rather large complex felt as though there were no other guests, and we think only one other couple were staying at the time. The pool area is lovely – garish, but a nice pool we would have enjoyed if the weather was better. Rooms large and comfortable with a free rollaway for our teen daughter and also with a very nice balcony and sun bed. What is weird is the logo and how it is part of the decor throughout- the human figure is even in the mosaic tiles throughout. There was strange existential literature/poetry in the room, and a large book of this was opened and bookmarked on our bed each evening at turn down. We were not sure what to make of it. They are trying very hard to be a luxury hotel, but it doesn’t feel right at all. We felt mildly uncomfortable throughout and would have preferred to be closer to town so we didn’t need to rely on the bus each hour.…

  • Comfortable but a very weird and try-hard hotel
It’s not about infrastructure or views, which were excellent anyway. It’s not the attention to every little detail which is apparent everywhere. It’s not even the great taste of decorations and the contemporary art elements, which are spread around making the life beautiful. Agalia team is providing absolutely perfect level of services and made our vacation time a memorable one. Staff with genuine smile and happy to offer whole-hearted services. Outstanding restaurant and cocktails. Amazing experience.

  • Excellent whole-hearted service
We were trying a new Greek island and found Agalia Luxury Suites in iOS. We have been to many five star properties over many years of traveling and especially to the Greek islands. This hotel is among the best we have ever been to. It is impossible to describe how unique the hotel is because the attention to detail and artistic touches are everywhere. All furniture is custom made and unique with stunning patterns and colors. The suite we had, number 17 was perched high atop a hill and we had panoramic views from all sides. A large pool and hot tub and large patio area were part of the suite, but the room itself with stone walls, ceilings and marble floors with a beautiful marble bath continued the experience. we were able to see sunsets and sunrises from the room. Best of all were the staff. From reception to drivers to restaurant and bar, everyone was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back…

  • A Home Away from Home
Agalia was by far the most extraordinary hotel that surpassed all our expectations. From the breathtaking decor to the personalised service received each day. It was perfect in every way. The location was a prime spot with a brilliant view of the harbour. The rooms were impeccable and the breakfast buffet was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The best part of this hotel was the thoughtful added extras that topped up our experience. We could not recommend this hotel enough and will be surely going back soon!

  • amazing experience
We thought we had seen the best of Ios before, being regular visitors to Ios over the past 25 years, but Agalia is classes above anything else on the island. Whilst the decor and presence is loved by some and strongly resisted by others, the luxury, service, space and feel of the place easily compares with 5* hotels around the world – in fact exceeding it where you add the Greek hospitality touch. We would love to stay again one day, thank you for making us so very welcome.

  • The lap of luxury…
Loved Ios and thought it was more enjoyable than Mykonos. Theodore and his team at the Agalia Luxury Suites went above and beyond to help us. They were terrific and the level of service was amazing. Also it seemed the room key unlocked all there was to see on the island so make sure you take it and show it wherever you go!

  • Superb stay and service!
We were expecting an impressive place but this exceeded our expectations. Very luxurious, room, pools, food and service perfect – from arranging day trips to room service to restaurant and brekky. Walking distance to town, beaches and restaurants. Access to and transport to great sister venues included. We’ll be back.

  • A beautiful island and a great hotel
Small luxury hotel with a staff that is extremely polite, courteous, cheerful, and attentive to your needs and desires. Our room overlooked the bay, had a private pool, upscale marble bathroom with glass enclosed shower….all of which provided an unforgettable and memorable stay!! Jack & Maria

  • Small luxury hotel with outstanding service
My wife and I traveled to agalia for our second stop in a trip around the greek islands. This was by far our favorite place. 1. Private yacht. It turned out the day we were supposed to travel from mykonos to ios there was a ferry strike. Agalia had contacted us the night before we were supposed to check in to tell us that the strike was still on and that they were going to try to find a way to get us to ios from mykonos. A few hours later they emailed us and said they were going to send their “private yacht” to pick us up in the old port of mykonos free of charge. So we made our way to the port the next morning still unsure on how it would all unfold with hundreds of travelers trying to find a way to their next destinations. We were told to look for a black boat “targa 44”.…

  • Unforgettable honeymoon at agalia.
Absolutely amazing. Huge, huge rooms (MUCH bigger than we’ve seen in other comparable Greek hotels), incredible attention to detail, glorious private pools to watch the ferries and yachts come and go from, lovely big pool with floats and views too. Tremendous service, from turndown, water and ice-water face towels beside the pool, offers of face cream, insect repellent… We (family of four, kids 7 and 10) *loved* the breakfast buffet; the main hotel restaurant menu for snack and meals was a bit limited (dishes cooked really well, but range of choices really didn’t impress) but as a quick and easy option they worked and there are tavernas within 7-8 mins walk so no hardship. We didn’t really take in the Agalia’s shared-ownership connection to the Erego beach bar (and the…
